Our ground beef is around a medium to regular mix, at about an 80/20 mix of P:F.  Grass-fed beef is naturally lower in unhealthy saturated fats, and higher in the healthy polyunsaturated fats like omega-3, as well as CLA (conjugated linoleic acid).

Healthy fats are important for the development of our cells and nerves, and are essential to the absorption and processing of various vitamins and minerals in our body. We realize that some people are used to lean or extra lean ground beef, but we believe that the healthy fats are actually a great benefit to the people who purchase grass-fed & finished beef - which is why we choose this ratio for our ground beef.  It also helps keep the beef juicy and moist, and contributes to a delicious flavour for any dish!


By the way, while the other sizes are just increments for easy ordering, the 40lb option gives you an additional discount of $0.38/lb - if you have freezer space, this is a great option since ground beef always seems to disappear quickly!

PRO BUYER'S TIP: The smaller 5lb option is a great add on to get free shipping for orders over $250.

    My go to place!

    You can't go wrong ordering from Keyser Creek, high quality meats from a great farm and their customer service is off the charts. In fact, I almost didn't review them as I don't want them to run out of meat because of all their new customers and I can't get any!! Just kidding, don't hesitate to buy from this local, family farm, you won't be disappointed.
